It is with heart-felt gratitude that we mark the successful close of our Force for Good Campaign. This journey has been a remarkable testament to the strength of our community – our alumni, students, volunteers, staff, and cherished friends – coming together for a shared purpose.
Throughout the campaign, our commitment to INSEAD's core values has guided our path. Scholarships have nurtured diversity, staying true to our founding principles, and creating a more inclusive environment. Research centres have bridged the gap between academia and real-world challenges, weaving sustainability into every aspect of our work. Our research initiatives have delved into critical topics such as gender equality, digital innovation, wealth distribution and more.
As we look back on this journey, we also look forward with humility. Challenges remain, and our pursuit of progress continues. Together, we possess the ability to contribute to a fairer, more prosperous, and sustainable world. The Force for Good Effect reminds us that our impact extends far beyond our campus.
As we celebrate the culmination of this campaign, let us carry the spirit of unity and dedication forward. Our journey persists, and each step we take holds the potential for transformation.
Ilian MihovFormer Dean, INSEAD
For more than 60 years, INSEAD has developed responsible leaders who believe in business as a force for good. As we look to the future, we must set our ambitions even higher — to accelerate societal progress, drive sustainable growth and heighten our global impact. We all play an important role in driving positive change in business and society.
The final Campaign Celebration took place in Fontainebleau to thank donors for their support and highlight the impact of the campaign. Hosted by the Hoffmann Global Institute for Business and Society, the Business & Society Summit featured five years of sustainability research, curriculum changes, policy adjustments and outreach at INSEAD. The engaging discussions explored the trends that support the integration of sustainability into business and how we can strive to do even more.
The evening celebration featured speakers Professor Lily Fang, Dean of Research who spoke on the advances in research made possible through the campaign and Professor Renée Mauborgne, co-director of the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute, who described how companies can strive for positive disruption. Dean Ilian Mihov closed the celebration with a passing of the “Force for Good” torch to incoming Dean Francisco Veloso in true INSEAD style.
Our Force for Good Champions are making waves in their respective communities as agents of change in building a sustainable and peaceful future for us all. We invite you to join them in reimagining the future of business and society
