Enabling new directions in research With the latest crises, it’s clear that we need to rethink critical topics such as healthcare, the environment and the future of work. INSEAD faculty are pursuing powerful new ideas in such fields. Your support at this defining moment will help them to accelerate knowledge for a better tomorrow.
World-leading research has flourished at INSEAD for over 30 years. INSEAD’s faculty are prolific, respected and influential, with their work inspiring business practice and academic thinking.
Supporting our faculty to push the frontiers of knowledge in these unprecedented times greatly strengthens the school’s global standing. For a culture of excellence also plays a major part in attracting and retaining the most sought-after faculty in an extremely competitive environment. It also helps to draw the best and brightest students and executives to INSEAD year after year.

Reinforcing our faculty’s research creates a huge impact in our classrooms. It injects immediacy, rigour and authority into the subjects we teach.
Published researchers who teach have greater credibility with students – a prerequisite for successful learning environments. At INSEAD, this excellence has led to new programmes, simulations and cases that are used within the school and beyond. All this guarantees the highest quality in the knowledge we impart and the relevance of our insights and frameworks – the foundations of our reputation.

Providing our faculty with vital resources – such as laboratories, datasets, research assistants and case writers – to pursue promising ideas ensures that the entire INSEAD community benefits from the quality and value of INSEAD’s research. This would not be possible without the generosity of our donors.
Donor support, particularly in the form of unrestricted gifts, enables faculty to pursue new lines of research with freedom and flexibility. Such experimental research increases the possibility of making breakthroughs for business and society, especially at this critical time.

“Our culturally diverse academics stand at the frontiers of new knowledge creation that is both rigorous and relevant but also a driving force for change in business and society. Through our research and teaching, we contribute to our school’s vision to make business a force for good.”
Unlike our peers, INSEAD does not have the advantages of a large endowment or affiliation with a state-funded university. The impact of unrestricted gifts – which can be put to use immediately – cannot be overstated, particularly at the moment.
