Paula Heisecke MBA’23D: Empowering Future Leaders through Scholarship Support

Paula Heisecke MBA’23D, a proud Paraguayan and dedicated INSEAD alumna, extends a heartfelt invitation to individuals worldwide to join her in empowering future leaders through scholarship support. As a grateful recipient of a life changing INSEAD scholarship, Paula acknowledges the pivotal role of generous donors in shaping her journey and enabling her to pursue her aspirations. 

Working within the Paraguayan Central Bank, Paula faced constant challenges that pushed her to excel. Yet, she soon realized that to amplify her impact and foster positive change on a larger scale, she needed to broaden her horizons. Inspired by a vision of collaborative efforts between businesses and governments to tackle poverty, create employment opportunities, and enhance access to vital resources like water and healthcare, Paula set her sights on pursuing an MBA at INSEAD. 

However, Paula encountered a significant hurdle on her path to realizing her ambitions: financial constraints. In Paraguay's public service sector, recognition and financial support often lag behind dedication and effort. Without external assistance, Paula's dreams of pursuing higher education at INSEAD would have remained out of reach. 

Fortunately, the unwavering support of INSEAD donors changed Paula's trajectory. Through their belief in her potential, Paula was able to embark on a transformative journey that shaped her into a leader who envisions a brighter future for her nation and region. Grateful for the opportunities afforded to her, Paula is now determined to pay it forward and empower aspiring change agents who, like her, are aligned with INSEAD's mission but face financial obstacles. 

Recognizing the power of collective action, Paula emphasizes the importance of supporting scholarship funds to nurture the next generation of responsible leaders who are committed to making a positive impact on society.
