Advancing the Mission we Share

Dear friends, 

Since its INSEAD’s founding, the school’s mission has been bringing together people, cultures, and ideas to develop responsible leaders who transform business and society. Thanks to you, that mission continues to thrive, and it is my honour and privilege to help carry it out. 

The Force for Good campaign, INSEAD’s transformative 10-year fundraising effort, illustrates your generosity in action, with extraordinary results. The campaign drove a significant increase in giving and a remarkable rise in alumni engagement. I hope, during my tenure as dean, to further grow and strengthen our philanthropic culture, and engage even more alumni and friends in support of the mission we share and cherish. 

I am especially proud of the academic excellence philanthropy makes possible. Thanks to your investments, enduring sustainability initiatives have cascaded across our curriculum and through staff activities. Our faculty, recognised globally for their pioneering work, continue to impact pressing issues, such as the climate crisis, economic and social inequalities, and geopolitical and financial instability. Your generosity enables INSEAD to advance their innovative research. 

Our community’s commitment to scholarships is equally remarkable. At a time of economic uncertainty for so many of our students, your generosity upholds our mission to develop courageous, empathetic, responsible decision-makers, equipped to face today’s challenges and create a more prosperous and inclusive world. 

I am also grateful for the momentum created by lead gifts for the Europe Campus Re-imagination project, the school's largest and most important undertaking to date. More than just a renovation effort, this initiative will support INSEAD’s mission by creating spaces that facilitate human connections, all while harmonising sustainability and diversity. 

Achievements like these require inspired leadership, and for that, I would like to thank former dean Ilian Mihov, Rémy Best MBA’93D, Emma Goltz MBA’98J, and many others who played a pivotal role in the success of our campaign. I also wish to acknowledge my faculty colleagues and all the staff at INSEAD. 

Once again, thank you for your invaluable support for the mission we share. I look forward to continuing these important conversations with you in the future.
