Dear Donors,

In just one year, the Campaign for INSEAD: A Force for Good has made tremendous progress. To date, the Campaign has raised €182M of its €250M goal and engaged 41% of alumni as donors.

We could not have made it this far without you. Thank you sincerely for giving to INSEAD.

Your participation has generated a groundswell of support for the school. In fact, the impact is palpable. This year, the number of donors increased by 17% to 4,676. Regular giving through the INSEAD Fund also grew, underscoring the power of collective giving. Special thanks to members of the INSEAD Investors Circle, whose annual support forms the foundation of the INSEAD Fund. During the year, we were also pleased to announce the creation of the Founders Pledge, which invites investors and entrepreneurs to dedicate a percentage of future proceeds to INSEAD.

The highlights do not end there. INSEAD reached other key fundraising milestones this year.

  • Giving Day 2019 broke new records, raising an all-time high of €1.2M from 2,273 donors in 79 countries. These gifts generated strong support for the Dean’s Fund/Greatest Impact.
  • Christoph Rubeli MBA’92D gave a generous gift to the Europe Campus Renewal Project and in recognition, Amphi B was named in his honour. The project is of central importance to the school.
  • A generous gift from Bianca and James Pitt MBA’94D established a Chair in Environmental Sustainability. The Chair will support knowledge creation and dissemination focusing on socially and environmentally responsible operations management.
  • Donors helped fund the launch of the San Francisco Hub for Business Innovation, a state-ofthe- art facility designed to drive innovation and increase our reach in North America.
  • Class reunions inspired strong support from alumni, who collectively gave €6.6M through class gift campaigns. The alumni of MBA’09J&D and MBA’14J&D achieved more than 40% participation, while MBA’14J set a new giving record for a five-year reunion.
  • The Hoffmann Global Institute for Business and Society elicited new donor gifts of €3M to the Institute, generously matched by André Hoffmann MBA’90D.

There are so many people to thank for this success: Andreas Jacobs MBA’90D, Chair of the INSEAD Board; Rémy Best MBA’93D, Chair of the INSEAD Campaign Board; Emma Goltz MBA’98J, Chair of the INSEAD Alumni Fund; Sadia Khan MBA’95D, President of the INSEAD Alumni Association; Presidents of the National Alumni Associations and Clubs; Presidents and Ambassadors of the INSEAD Alumni Fund; reunion class committees; and every single volunteer and donor.

Together, we are writing INSEAD’s next chapter — and building a brighter future for all.
