Back Catalysing Digital Transformation and Sustainability Participants at the Product Games Competition Share INSEAD is committed to generating new ideas, insights and innovations that advance digital transformation and sustainability. Accenture, a multinational professional services company and longtime INSEAD supporter, has been instrumental in this effort. Accenture has given generously to the school’s digital@INSEAD initiative for several years. In 2020/2021, this support was critical to the creation of several student-led initiatives and alumni events that enhanced the student experience and supported alumni learning. For example, Accenture sponsored Product Games, a global competition that challenges MBA students to solve real-world problems in product management. For the 2021 competition, students were tasked with designing a product that supports the widespread shift to remote working. The winning team created a tool, Homework.ai, that helps teleworkers build a personalised and sustainable workspace at home. Accenture also sponsored SDG Week, an annual three-day event run by the Hoffmann Global Institute for Business and Society and co-designed by various INSEAD Student Clubs. In 2021, SDG Week adopted a hybrid format featuring online and in-person sessions on the INSEAD Europe campus. More than 1,700 registrants signed up to explore sustainable business, redefining capitalism, gender equality, impact investment and more. Throughout the year, Accenture supported a variety of digital events that helped students stay connected to each other and to INSEAD during the pandemic. The flagship Lifelong Learning webinar series covered a range of topics, from leadership development to challenges affecting business and society in this digital and disruptive era. TECH TALKS webinars explored how different digital technologies are impacting business and society. INTHECASE webinars used a highly interactive format to take a deep dive into INSEAD’s latest case studies on digital transformation. Accenture and INSEAD are currently partnering to develop new thought leadership content, including a CEO video series on business, industry, technology, workforce transformation, sustainability and innovation, and a manual for decision-makers on how to scale hydrogen across the value chain.
