Building a foundation for the future, brick by brick

Last month marked a significant milestone for INSEAD as the school expanded its global presence with the inauguration of its first permanent facility in North America. On 27 February 2020, the INSEAD San Francisco Hub for Business Innovation officially opened its doors in one of the most innovative cities in the world.

Shaping the future

The Hub is so much more than simply a charming 1930s industrial garage turned state-of-the-art building situated at the epicentre of technology and innovation. It is a space to forge connections and open up a world of possibilities within a dynamic ecosystem of movers and shakers. It is a venue that invites thinkers and doers to co-create and lead the development of innovative research and teaching. It is a place where global students, alumni, faculty and leaders will collectively shape the future of business and society.

The new INSEAD San Francisco Hub for Business Innovation brings INSEAD’s 60 years of academic excellence and unique transformational spirit to North America – a truly global experience unlike any other. However, we need the support of the INSEAD community to fully realize the Hub’s potential which is why we launched the INSEAD Hub Brick Campaign, an easy and meaningful way to contribute to this new chapter in the INSEAD story.

The INSEAD Hub Brick Campaign

The INSEAD Hub Brick Campaign takes the tradition of the beautiful, timeworn bricks of Camembert, on our Europe Campus, in a new digital direction. Every digital brick donation of US$1,000 will see the donor’s name and class appear on a unique digital honor wall at the San Francisco Hub for Business Innovation. A donation of US$3,000 allows you to personalize a learning space with a plaque – etched with your name and class – affixed to a desk in The Hub’s state-of-the-art amphitheatre.

To celebrate our new San Francisco address, 224 Townsend Street, our goal is to attract 224 donors for 224 bricks. The resources will allow INSEAD to conduct new research with local companies focusing on digital issues such as tech for good and digital transformation; attract top faculty and research talent specializing in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship; develop new programs and outreach, including lifelong learning and networking opportunities for alumni; increase the school’s reach in the North American market; and further develop The Hub with the latest technology and spaces to create an engaging and positive experience.

Help us lay a strong foundation for this exciting new endeavour – brick by brick – and be a force for good by showing your support at https://forceforgood.insead.edu/san-francisco-hub.
